NEDA Conference - Connecting to Compete
Dear New Jersey Economic Development Colleagues,
Our friend and colleague, Leah Yasenchak, I wants to make you aware of a great economic development event that will be occurring in Hartford, Connecticut at the end of October. The Northeastern Economic Development Association (NEDA), of which many of you are members, will be holding its annual conference. The event promises to one of NEDA’s finest conferences. The theme of the conference will be “Connecting to Compete” with an emphasis on competing through connections with higher education, talent, entrepreneurs and innovation, employment and industries of the future. In addition, Tuesday, the final day of the conference will be devoted to presentations by site selectors and the opportunity to meet with them one-on-one. The social aspects of the program are all first-class with an opening reception at the Wadsworth Antheneum, America’s oldest art museum on Sunday evening, Monday night’s reception honoring the 50th Anniversary of EDANJ‘s Connecticut counterpart, the Connecticut Economic Development Association,(CEDAS), and an awards gala featuring some of Connecticut’s finest cuisine. Not only will this be a wonderful opportunity to network with peers from around the region but also a relatively easy drive - Hartford is located on I-84 and I-91.
Here's the Conference link for more information. I hope you will join Leah in Hartford October 28th to the 30th.
